Salt Lake City, Utah , 1998 -- Poulton Associates, Inc. announced that it has become an approved vendor to the Internet Service Providers' Consortium (ISP/C). The ISP/C is an organization dedicated to providing support services to its membership consisting of Internet Service Providers (ISP's) and associate companies who sell hardware, software and services to ISP's. Poulton Associates has created NetsureX, a one-stop insurance facility for ISP's, providing lower pricing and broader insurance coverage than was previously available. The NetsureX program offers an automatic 15% discount on Property and Liability Insurance to ISP/C members and an online insurance application at the Poulton web site.

Craig Poulton President of Poulton Associates, said "Until now, the vast majority of ISP's have had to accept substandard liability insurance which excludes certain very important coverage such as Libel, Advertising Injury, Copyright Infringement and more. Errors and Omissions insurance has been very hard to get because underwriters and brokers are unfamiliar with ISP insurance issues. We are happy to announce that through NetsureX ISP's can purchase coverage for Libel and Advertising Injury as part of their general liability policy without additional cost and they can purchase broad errors and omissions insurance with premiums as low as $1,500.00 annually. NetsureX represents a major breakthrough for managing risk as an Internet Service Provider. Even as they buy a superior product, most ISP's will realize premium reductions of between 25% and 70%. We wish to thank the ISP/C for their help in the creation of this program and its delivery to the ISP community; they saw the need and helped us fill it."

NetsureX can provide coverage for virtually any insurance product an ISP might need. General Liability, Errors & Omissions Liability, Workers Compensation, Buildings, Equipment and Contents, Loss of Income, Crime, Computer and Telecommunications Equipment, Mechanical Breakdown, Data & Media, Automobiles, Umbrella Liability, Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Employee Benefits: Group Health (as few as 2 in group), Life and Disability insurance, can all be purchased through NetsureX.

About the ISP/C

Formed in June of 1996, the ISP/C is an international, not-for-profit trade association composed of individuals and organizations that functions to implement cooperative services to assist ISP's. On behalf of its members, the ISP/C provides a unified voice on legislative issues, vendor relationships and other business issues impacting the operation of an ISP. ISP/C provides a range of services, including hardware, software and support discounts, to ISP's. The group also offers a forum for the maintenance of an open global market for ISP's. Plans include the implementation of lobbying efforts, an online information system, software and equipment discounts, and online and in-person roundtable conferences.
