Federal law gives you the right to limit only:

What happens when I limit sharing for an account I hold jointly with someone else?
Your choices will apply to everyone on your account.
Definitions
Affiliates
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.
Nonaffiliates
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies.

Nonaffiliates we share with for everyday business purposes can include insurers, reinsurers, program administrators, inspection firms, adjusters, IT and communications vendors, and other service providers.
Joint marketing
A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services.
Other important information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile/SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We disclose mobile numbers and messaging metadata only to vendors as needed to deliver messages and to comply with law.
